Tapos na ba?

"Is it done yet?" A phone-first tracker for the household's cat-care tasks, with photo evidence and a review queue.

Next.js, Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Storage, row-level security), VercelSource on GitHub

Two phone screens, today's task list and a task waiting for its photo evidence.

The screenshots run against the repo’s mock backend, so the names and numbers are made up, and the photos are placeholders.

The helper’s day

The helper opens the app on her phone, in Tagalog by default, and sees today’s tasks with what each one pays. Tasks come from the house rules: daily, every Monday, every Friday’s general cleaning, the 15th and 30th with a day’s grace, every two months.

She taps a task and takes the photo on the spot. The app opens the camera, not the gallery, so an old photo can’t be reused. She can also file a report, like a sick cat, a broken fountain or low stock, with photos.

The review

Two phone screens: a submission waiting for review with its photos and the helper’s note, and the earnings screen with the balance available to withdraw. Approve a task, or send it back with a note and it reappears for her as “Ulitin”. Approved work adds to her earnings, which she can ask to withdraw.

What keeps it honest

  • Everything is behind sign-in, and there’s no sign-up page.
  • Any household member can read; every privileged step (review, skip, reschedule, templates, roles) needs the admin role and goes through database functions or admin-only policies.
  • A helper can’t mark a task done without its photos, submit before its window opens, attach someone else’s evidence, or delete evidence that has been reviewed, even by calling the database API directly. The database tests check each of these as a signed-in helper.
  • Photos live in a private bucket, in each user’s own folder, shown through short-lived signed links.
